The Hardap Region stretch the entire width of Namibia from East to West. The area is rich in historical landmarks and include some of Namibia's must see natural landmarks such as Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Sesriem Canyon, Namib Desert and if around in the rainy season you might be lucky to view the spectacular bloom of lilies near Maltahohe.
The Region's Capital is Mariental, situated on the B1 National Highway, the country's longest and most significant road, running from South to North the whole length of Namibia. From here there is a lot of activities, things to see, historical and scenically places to visit and generally just enjoying the region and its warm, welcoming inhabitants.
